Christianity is an Abrahamic'>Abrahamic religion, meaning it is based on the teachings of the Hebrew Bible'>Bible, also known as the Old Testament.

Christianity is based on the belief that Jesus is the Son of God and the savior of humanity. According to Christian belief, Jesus was born of a virgin, performed miracles, died on the cross to atone for the sins of humanity, and rose from the dead. Christians believe that through faith in Jesus, they can be saved from sin and receive eternal life.

The core beliefs of Christianity include the Trinity'>Trinity (God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit), the divinity of Jesus, the resurrection of Jesus, and Salvation'>salvation through faith in Jesus.
