Amar'e Stoudemire is a former professional basketball player who played in the NBA for 14 seasons. He was an eight-time All-Star and won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2003.

Amar’e Stoudemire is a professional basketball player who has had a long and successful career in the NBA. He was born in Lake Wales, Florida on November 16, 1982 and attended Cypress Creek High School in Orlando, Florida. He was a highly recruited player and was selected by the Phoenix Suns with the ninth overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft.

Stoudemire quickly established himself as one of the best players in the league, earning six All-Star selections and four All-NBA selections in his first eight seasons with the Suns. He was also named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2003 and was a key member of the Suns’ run to the Western Conference Finals in 2005. In 2010, he signed with the New York Knicks and continued to be a productive player, earning two more All-Star selections and an All-NBA selection in his four seasons with the team.

In 2015, Stoudemire signed with the Dallas Mavericks and then the Miami Heat in 2016. He then returned to the Knicks for the 2016-17 season before retiring in 2017. Throughout his career, Stoudemire was known for his athleticism, strength, and ability to score in the paint. He was also an excellent rebounder and shot blocker.

Off the court, Stoudemire has been involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors. He has worked with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Special Olympics. He has also written two books, Home Court and STAT: Standing Tall and Talented.

In 2019, Stoudemire was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He is one of the most successful and respected players in NBA history and will be remembered for his contributions to the game.
