John Stockton

Stockton was born in Spokane, Washington in 1962 and attended Gonzaga University, where he was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs. He was selected by the Jazz in the first round of the 1984 NBA'>NBA Draft and went on to become one of the most decorated players in the history of the franchise. He was a ten-time NBA'>NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA'>NBA First Team selection, and a nine-time NBA'>NBA All-Defensive Team selection. He was also named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA'>NBA History in 1996.

Stockton was known for his ability to make plays and set up his teammates for easy baskets. He holds the NBA'>NBA records for most career assists and steals, and is the only player in NBA'>NBA history to record more than 15,000 points and 15,000 assists. He was also a great shooter, finishing his career with a .515 field goal percentage.

Stockton was a leader on the court and a great teammate off the court. He was known for his unselfishness and willingness to put the team first. He was also a great mentor to younger players, helping them to develop their skills and become better players.
