Quin Snyder

Quin Snyder is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA'>NBA). He has also served as head coach of the Missouri Tigers men's basketball team and the NBA'>NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.

Quin Snyder is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association (NBA'>NBA). He has been the head coach of the Jazz since 2014 and has led the team to the playoffs in each of his six seasons.

Snyder was born in Mercer Island, Washington and attended Mercer Island High School, where he was a standout basketball player. He went on to play college basketball at Duke University, where he was a four-year starter and two-time captain. After graduating from Duke, Snyder began his coaching career as an assistant coach at the University of Missouri. He then moved on to become the head coach of the Missouri Tigers, where he led the team to three NCAA tournament appearances in five seasons.

In 2010, Snyder was hired as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. He then moved on to become the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks in 2012. After two seasons with the Hawks, Snyder was hired as the head coach of the Utah Jazz in 2014.

Since becoming the head coach of the Jazz, Snyder has led the team to the playoffs in each of his six seasons. He has also been named the NBA'>NBA Coach of the Year in 2017 and has been named to the NBA'>NBA All-Star Game coaching staff in 2019.

Snyder is known for his innovative offensive and defensive strategies, as well as his ability to develop young players. He has also been praised for his ability to build strong relationships with his players and for his commitment to the team.
